ACJL PLATEAU SIGNED INTO LAW

PWAN is pleased to inform the public, that the Plateau ACJL bill has been assented to by the Executive Governor, Plateau State on 25th September 2018. Through our #AccessNG project supported by the US Embassy Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL), PWAN has been advocating for the adoption of the bill in Plateau State and has been carrying out advocacy efforts to stakeholders such as the State Judiciary, State Ministry of Justice, Federation of International Women Lawyers (FIDA) & State House of Assembly.

#PWAN will also assist with the effective implementation of the law in the state, to ensure sustainable criminal justice reform. #ACJL #Plateau #AccessNG
