The Gender-Based Security Threat Assessment of the 2023 Election in Nigeria: Volume II

In February 2023, PWAN with support from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) released ‘The Gender-Based Security Threat Assessment of the 2023 Election in Nigeria: Volume II with a focus on the gubernatorial elections. 

Although the elections were characterized by various challenges and issues, the report is particularly focused on the threats and general problems women faced during the elections as voters, candidates, election security officials, observers, and election officials in all elections held in Nigeria between November 2022 and April 2023, covering the period of electioneering and election administration.
