THEMATIC CONVENING: SOCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY IN THE JUSTICE SECTOR

The Justice Sector refers to the lawyers and judges, courts and others who are responsible for the administration of justice in the country. Although the Police and other law enforcement bodies are generally regarded as justice sector institutions, this paper focuses mainly on the judiciary or judges who are primarily in charge of the dispensation of justice.
